Monet’s Violet: I loved reading a tidbit about Monet. He said the last color of the rainbow is violet and shadows were violet, not black, responding to the sun’s yellow rays, [purple represents a slightly redder color]. A nice reminder when you’re trying to keep your shadow colors clean.
